Dutch collective Exactitudes has been collecting photographs of everyday people for over 14 years. In various places over europe mostly, they came to a over crowded place and stop by people to have just one photo of them. Always looking for similarities and analysing their environment, they built boards of different people looking exactly the same.
More than an artistic idea, their effort has become a smashing anthropologist study of what fashion and mutual influences bring to our look and feel.
Visual proof is the best argue to see that urban or human tribes are a reality.
Now, you’re must be thinking « for sure, I’m not one of those copycats, I’m different, I’m unique ».
Right or wrong?
I guess you’d better take a look at the site www.exactitudes.com to face the truth,
BTW: yes I’m back. English, you cabrones !
